This 8-mile-long, 230-kV project was designed and constructed to serve a 200-MW wind farm. The line consists of wood-pole H-frame structures supporting a 795 kcmil ACSR Drake conductor. There are two OPGW shield wires for the entire length. All deadend and angle structures are guyed. PLS-CADD was used in all aspects of line design, including the development of structure models, the evaluation of strength and clearance requirements, and the production of plan and profile drawings. TriAxis services included specifications, bid document preparation, and services during the construction.

The project was completed in 2010.
